Dalian Economic Development zone has taken environmental protection on its top priority of agenda since its founding. At present it has two sewage treatment plant and its capacity of sewage treatment is 80,000 tons per day. Sewage treatment rate has reached 100% in the zone. Also in the zone there is one treatment center of industrial refuse and one field for dangerous rubbish to be safely buried.
