Sandstorm hit Lanzhou, Alxa and Dalian

( Abstract )

On the last day of the last century, sandstorm blew from Hexi Corridor and affected part of the northwestern and northern China. On the second day of this century, Lanzhou's floating dust did not drop away. In the latest 50 years, Gansu Province has 46 strong sandstorms, 0.9 times per year. From 1995 to 2000, it appeared 17 times and averaged 2.8 times a year, but 9 times in 2000.
